Workers Edge was created to assist Injured Workers with the WCB claims process; however, we do understand and appreciate that not all injuries / conditions are the responsibility of the date-of-accident employer, nor should the employer bare the full affect of same on their premiums.

Workers Edge has worked in conjunction with Employer Representatives to ensure that the Worker and Employer are both treated fairly by the WCB and together we have ensured that the WCB does not ruin the Employer / Employee relationship.

WE focused on the Injured Worker; however, the apparent date-of-accident Employers are not always solely responsible for Injured Workers conditions and should not be burdened with all claims costs to help rehabilitate their Employee.

In working together, we can maintain the Worker / Employer relationship, maintain employer productivity and reduced delays in recovery. This is a Win-Win for all.


Cost Relief
We know Employers are focused on their Employees full recovery 1st.  There are situations when the costs associated with a specific claim are not the responsibility of the Employer; such as aggravation of pre-existing conditions.

Cost Transfers
Other instances are when injuries result from accidents that can be charged to another employers account.

The above situations (and more) are why Employer’s also need Representatives and not to be seen as Employers trying to undermine their Employees injuries.

Return To Work
Workers Edge is available for meetings with Injured Workers and their Employer to discuss and develop safe / timely / medically supported Return To Work Plans.  Although Disability Management is a medical issue and requires medical expertise from Health Care Professionals, best with Health Care Professionals independent of WCB, to see the whole / unbiased picture.

The goal of a Return To Work Plan is to return the Worker to their original or modified position, or lastly, to an alternate position.
